Gelabale leads the way
Cholet and Michael Gelabale have won the second..
.. game in the semi-finals of the Pro A play-offs. Coach Erman Kunter’s squad lost at home this past Tuesday but did beat Gravelines on the road in game 2. Cholet trailed in the first half (39-29), especially because of the the second quarter where Gravelines dished a 19-9 to the visitors. The 3 rd quarter (22-26) was the sign for Cholet to come back slowly in the game. Because off an impressive 4 th quarter (12-28), Cholet took the lead and forbid Gravelines to come back due to an aggressive & effective zone defense. Wingman Michael Gelabale led his team with 17 points (5 for 9 two's, 2 for 3 threes, 1/2 free throws, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block and 3 steals). The 3rd and final game of this semi-finals will be played in Cholet. The winner will qualify for the Final in Paris and will play against the winner of the other series between Le Mans (Zack Wright) and Roanne.
