..join his new team Bremerhaven. It will be the start of the 196 cm wing's third season in the German BBL after playing two years for coach Tolga Öngören in Tübingen and Ludwigsburg. Now Chaney will suit up for coach Doug Spradley who had to replace Steve Esterkamp because he is down with an injury. Chaney is a proven commodity and no doubt will again bring high energy and intensity to the Bremerhaven squad on defense and in rebounding. But also his offensive output will be an asset. Chaney's three point percentage has steadily climbed over his pro years to an amazing 52,4% clip the games he played in Puerto Rico this summer, and his drive to the basket is as strong as ever. Richard already practiced a couple of times with the Eisbären squad, showed to be in excellent shape, and is expected to play this weekend against Düsseldorf.
