| Hamm leads Vilpas to victory

.. with Finnish team Salon Vilpas, has showed on an early to be one of the best additions in the Finnish league so far. Yesterday he played his 4th game with his new team, leading them to their 2nd win throughout the first four league games when they won against Kauhajoki at home: 92-78. Hamm, a former graduate of Towson University (2006), finnished as the leading scorer in the game with 30 points (13/20 FG) along with 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. The versatile (power) forward is now averaging 20.5 ppg along with a league-leading 12.8 rebounds a game. League newcomer Vilpas is on a 2-2 record since Hamm's arrival (1-4 before at his arrival). Other Court Sides clients in Finland were also very active during this weekend, Ashley Champion and his FoKoPo fell to LrNMKY on the road 87-81, Champion lead FoKoPo in scoring with 21 points and also added 8 rebounds. Ricky Hickman and his Namika Lahti took on league-leading Kenny Lowe and his Pyrintö, with Lowe and Pyrintö improving their record to 8-1 by their 91-72 road win. Lowe lead Pyrintö in scoring with his 21 points (7/14 FG, 7/8 FT), and Hickman lead Lahti in the defeat wiht 27 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 6 steals. Hickman is now 2nd in the league in scoring with 25.0 ppg.
