Nigel Wyatte goes to LePortel
Nigel Wyatte has agreed to a 1-year contract with..
..LePortel in ProB France. The versatile power forward (204 cm) won the championship in Pro B this past season with Paris-Levallois averaging 12,4 ppg (62,2%) and 6,3 rpg in 29 minutes per outing (34 games overall). At LePortel he will play together with U.S. point guard Ronnie Taylor who comes in from Boulazac. Wyatte, who left Wagner College in 2004, has a lot of experience overseas after playing in Holland (Cape Holland/Den Helder) and Spain (Celsa Miquez Procolor, Plasencia, Guipuzcoa & Huesca; all teams in the LEB). With the addition of Wyatte, LePortel is expected to become a play-off contender because the team seems to be balanced overall.
