Today, the 24th of May 2008, will always..
..be a special day in the life of Remon van de Hare. It is this day the 221 cm Dutch international became Ukrainian basketball Champion as well as father of healthy baby boy. These two events are maybe listed in the wrong order (as turning father is probably more important) but this site and agency of course deals with basketball related matters. Remon went through an up and down year where he was fighting a back injury in the middle of the season, but finished on an extreme high note. Azovmash is Ukranian Champion. Remon van de Hare played a big part in the success as he played well the entire playoffs. Today in the game four win Remon played a modest four and a half, because of the impending fatherhood, nerve wrecking minutes. Nonetheless he contributed 6 points in the 84-79 win. After the win Remon was speechless, broke down from sheer emotions of the "double whammy", and was congratulated by everyone in the Azovmash organisation. The youngest van de Hare was born today (24th of May), his father the 23rd of May 26 years ago, and his wife the the 22nd of May some years ago as well. All in all a heartwarming story. Because we at this agency also deal with human matters, we want to congratulate Remon with the birth of his son! ...and with his Championship.
