| Palmer inks with Upstairs/Weert
Elijah Palmer has signed a 1-year..
.. contract with Upstairs/Weert. The Dutch team was searching the market for the final player to close their roster. With the versatile Palmer, who can mix it up inside but also step out if requested, the missing piece of the puzzle has been found. The former graduate of Duquesne University (2004) played for Swanz Gmunden in Austria this past season averaging 10,0 ppg (58,6%), 5,1 rpg in just 20 minutes per outing. Before that the 201 cm power forward played for Brussels in Belgium ('05-'07) and 2 teams in Austria (Wels, '07-'08, and Traiskirchen, '04-'05). Just recently, he was also active at the Court Side Pro Camp in Las Vegas.
