Steve Ross stays in Holland
Steve Ross has inked a 2-year contract with..
.. GasTerra/Groningen in The Netherlands. The Canadian "combo forward" (201 cm) was the leading scorer of Upstairs/Weert in the Dutch league this past season with 17,6 ppg (46,3%) & 6,7 rpg while being 38,6% from behind the arc. The former Santa Clara U. (2002) graduate played for ZZ/Leiden last season after being active in France most recently for Mulhouse, Levallois and Villeurbanne. Gaserra Flames will the third team Steve will be playing for in the Dutch league. He is expected to get a lot of playing time at the power forward position but also at the wing (at times). His versatality, able to play outside-inside, will be an important weapon for the team of Marco van de Berg coming season. This past season Steve proved that he is capable of mixing it up on the inside or to drill it with authority from the outside.
