| Catalin Burlacu in Serie A
Air Avellino and Catalin Burlacu agreed terms today..
..which will bring the 210 cm Romanian star to Italy and the Serie A at least for one season. After leaving Romania last year to play for BC Kalev he will now move south. Playing with Kalev in the EuroCup last season, Catalin showed the Italian basketball community what he is capable of, scoring 29 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in the game against Virtus Bologna. Avellino head coach Matteo Boniciolli is looking forward to similar performances from the Romanian national team star throughout the coming season.
