| Limoges wins "Classic"
Zack Wright, Chris Massie and Karim Souchu were the..
.. key players for Limoges in the key victory over Pau-Lacq-Orthez. The home team won the “classico” in Pro A game, the first one since the 2 (former) "powerhouses" battled eachother at the highest level in 2004, with 90-63 (49-32). The pressure was on for both teams because none of them won their first 2 games. Zack Wright led Limoges to the victory with a tremendous "double-double": 17 pts, 10 assists & 3 rebounds. In the paint, inside force Chris Massie was dominating by adding 14 pts, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Coming off the bench, Karim Souchu showed his natural basketball instinct as a scorer by contributing 15 pts (2/5 2pts, 3/6 3pts, 2/2 FT), grabbing 5 rebounds and dishing 2 assists. Karim Souchu also lowered the input of Slaven Rimac (0/3 2pts, 0/6 3pts) for Pau by playing good defense. Two other Court Side clients performed very well tonight in the Pro B. Thank to the US shooting guard .Donald Wilson, who scored 17 points (6/10 2 pts, 5/8 FT) and 3 rebounds, Reims won their first league game by beating Fos-sur-Mer (91-73), while Calvin Watson (26 points, 5 steals, 5 assists) helped Evreux to beat Clermont (104-99) on the road in an offensive oriented game.
