Monwell Randle inks with Trabzonspor
U.S. power forward Monwell Randle..
.. has agreed terms with Trabzonspor in Turkey for the 2011-'12 season. The experienced Randle, who is well-known for his all-round teamplay, played the past 3 seasons in a row for Optima Gent in Belgium where he did have a good 2010-'11 campaign as well taking his stats into consideration with 11,1 ppg (46,2% FG), 7,3 rpg (Top 5 in the league overall), while being 33,8% from behind the arc and 77,6% from the foul line. The former Missouri State (2004) graduate came to Gent after having a good season with Oyak Renaul (2007-'08). Before that he was active in The Netherlands (Bergen op Zoom), Belgium (Vilvoorde) and KK Zadar (Croatia).
