U.S. point guard Obie Trotter had an..
.. excellent outing in the 2nd round of the groupstage in the FIBA EuroChallenge. Trotter and his Szolnok (Hungary) faced of against Russian team Novogorod on their homecourt. The well-known floorleader made sure that the Russians had a long trip back home, after scoring 11 points in the first half which ended with a tied score: 41-41. Trotter stepped up in the 2nd half by making three straight "three's" at the beginning of the 3rd quarter, and went on to score a total of 35 points! Trotter had an electrifying night, making eight of 14 (57.1%) of his three-point attempts while also dishing out four assists and grabbing six rebounds in the impressive 86-82 win for Szolnok. Trotter has been excellent for his new club so far, and his team has only lost 2 games the entire season, as they are now 1-1 in groupf A of the EuroChallenge, and being 8-1 in the Hungarian league in which they lead the ranking.
