| Brandon Thomas to Italy
The steady ascend of Brandon Thomas' already..
.. stellar career has taken another leap today. The 198 swing man signed a contract with Italian SerieA club Vanoli Braga Cremona and will move from the German BBL to the south of Europe. After finishing college averaging 4ppg his senior year at Massachusetts, Brandon started his professional career in Denmark, jumped to Austria the season after, and played the past two years in the German BBL for Braunschweig. During this past 2011-12 season Thomas acked up 14.3 ppg and also added 4.6 rpg and 2 apg, prompting Eurobasket.com to include him in the All Bundesliga second team. The jump now to play for Slovenian coach Tomo Mahoric at Cremona is another step up the European basketball ladder and Thomas is expected to adjust quickly and leave his mark in Italy as well. Brandon is expected to join his new teammates in August.
