Kauhajoki lands John Allen
Finnish team Kauhajoki Karhu have reached..
.. an agreement with John Allen for the upcoming season. The team, who is entering their 2nd season at the top level in Finland, has high goals for this upcoming year, and with the addition of John Allen they should have a team that can compete in the Finnish League. Allen, who is well known in Finnish basketball, since he played for Kouvot his first year as a "Pro" after playing college basketball for Seton Hall. In Kouvot Allen averaged 19 points and 7.7 rebounds, and was among the best players in the league. Since then he's played in Israel, France and recently in Germany for Braunscheig. In Kauhajoki he will join up with another Court Side Player, Jeremiah Wood, who stayed with the team after being named Player of the Year in 2009-2010. He lead the league, both in rebounds and assists. John is expected to arrive in Finland later this week.
