Haynes and Hamm team up in Finnish league
American point guard..
.. .. DeAndre Haynes and American forward Lawrence Hamm have both signed a deal with Finnish Team LrNMKY. Haynes, who signed his deal last night, comes to Finland after spending the last two years in the German Bundesliga where averaged 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists per game for Dusseldorf this past season. The 187 cm Haynes graduated from Kent State in 2006 and was the MAC Player of the Year that season. He is now going to lead the team of 1st year head coach Lassi Touvi in their hunt to get back to the play-offs after missing out on it last season. To his help, he will have (power) forward Lawrence Hamm who is no stranger to Finnish Basketball. Two seasons ago he did average 18 points and 10 rebounds per game for Salon Vilpas. Now he returns to the land of the thousand lakes after a year with BS Weert in Holland. Both players are expected to arrive early coming week to start preperations for the Finnish Korisliiga with their new team.
