Dutch comboguard Raoul Heinen has agreed to a..
.. contract with Matrixx Magixx/Nijmegen in the Dutch league. The former graduate of George Mason University (2004) played the last 2 seasons for Hanzevast/Capitals Groningen where he avered 9,5 ppg (58,8%) and 3,0 rpg while shooting 32,7% from behind the arc and 81,6% from the foul line. Before that, he was under contract with Verviers-Pepinster (2004-'06) and Paderborn (final 3 months of the 2005-'06 season). At. Matrixx Magixx the 195 cm guard is expected to play a lot together with U.S. point guard Ryan Sears, who returns to Nijmegen after being in Belgium (Antwerpen) for one season, in the back court. Matrixx Magixx has been a top 4 team in the Dutch league throughout the last couple of seasons and has won the Dutch Cup in 2007.
