Center Marcus Campbell signs with Le Portel
Marcus Campbell will return..
.. to Europe by inking a 1-year contract with Le Portel in Pro B France. The 28 year "old" center played in the NBA-DL this past season for Springfield where he did perform consistently. This past season, the former player of Mississipi State (2005) was averaging 10.9 ppg (53,9%) and 7,6 rpg. Marcus is a left-handed center who has a variety of moves and is very mobile for his size (214 cm/121 kilo's) and position. In the past, he also played in Italy (Avellino), Spain (CD Villa de Los Barrios) and the NDBL (Anaheim, Stampede & Rimrockers). At Le Portel he will replace Nigel Wyatte, who just finished a very succesfull season finishing in 7th place in the of the overall ranking in Pro B.
