James White inks with Scavolini Pesaro!
Extremely athletic forward James White..
.. stays in the Italian LegaA after signing with Scavolini Siviglia Pesaro. The former graduate of Cincinnati U. (2006) had an outstanding season for Dinamo Ford Sassari this past 2010-'11 season. He became the leading scorer in the league with 20,2 ppg (62,2% 2-pts, 31,8% 3-pts, 81,2% FT, 4,9rpg) and was voted Forward of the Year in the league while also being selected First Team All-LegaA. He guided Sassari to the play-offs and won the Italian Dunk Contest at the All Star game. Scavolini head coach Luca Dalmonte, who is currently with the Italian National team as an assistant coach, is obviously counting on the input of the 26-year old forward for coming season. Before Sassari, James was active in Russia (St. Petersburg), Turkey (Fenerbahce), NBA (San Antonio) & NDBL (Austin) .
