Ralph Biggs had a real important role..
..for Ural Great Perm in the first round game of the quarter finals in the Eurochallenge against BC Triumph. The battle of the Russian participants was a real thriller. After regulation, which was reached at 90-each, the visitors were capable of taking the impressive victory in O.T.: 100-102 (22-13, 40-41 at the half and 64-69 after the 3rd period). Darius Vashington (Ural Great) led all scorers with 29 points. Ralph Biggs, the U.S./Belgian swingman, scored 23 points and added also 5 rebounds. His experience & leadership were needed for the full 45 minutes! Game 2 in the Best-of-Three series will be played in Perm coming Thursday. If Ural Great wins at home, they will end the series and will qualify for the Final Four in Cyprus (April 24 - 26).
