| Smith and Baxter in Greek All Star Game
It was announced yesterday..
.. that Steven Smith and Jimmy Baxter are chosen to participate in the Greek All Star Game which will be held this coming Sunday. Steven Smith, currently playing for Panellinios, is leading the league in scoring (17.2 ppg) and is fourth in rebounding with 8.3 boards per game. More importantly Panellinios has won some games after Steven's arrival and has created some breathing room in their fight to stay in the league. Meanwhile Jimmy Baxter is averaging 16.4 ppg (4th in the league) and 1.8 spg (also fourth) for his squad Ilysiakos. Both Court Side players were voted in with the rest of both teams nearly completely consisting of Olympiakos and Panathinaikos players.
